On behalf of the students, faculty members, and administrative staff, welcome to the Faculty of Education webpage!

The Faculty of Education is committed to being a pole of radiance and excellence in providing world-class training to primary and secondary school teachers and educational leaders with emphasis on competence-based and hands-on learning experiences that enable our graduates to effectively take care of themselves as responsible citizens and help the country address its ever-changing needs.

Perhaps the uncommon attribute of the Faculty of Education is the dedicated Lecturers who value each student as a unique individual, which enables educators to know who our students are, where they come from, and more importantly why they like and join our academic programs. The Lecturers promote learning-centered and task-based activities, creativity, integrative and critical thinking skills, articulate communication, and professional decision-making skills that empower our students with abilities and attitudes to handle complex duties and challenges in schools. 

We empower our graduates with necessary knowledge and skills for career pathways of their choices with a focus on our core values and responsibilities for quality education that helps the country create skilled human resources and become a strong knowledge-based economy regionally and globally.

            We prepare our students for careers such as primary and secondary education teachers, school psychologists, and educational leaders. Our linkages with local schools as well as regional and international institutions enable the Faculty to provide our students with hands-on, responsive, and dynamic learning experiences. The Faculty offers undergraduate-level degrees in English-French with Education; Geography and History with Education; Economics with Education; Management with Education; Psychopedagogy; Clinical psychology; Mathematics-Physics education; Biology-Chemistry Education.

In a very near future, the Faculty will offer short courses in Clinical Psychology, Economics and Management, and Languages. The short courses to be offered will empower participants with knowledge and skills to be more competitive on ever-changing labor market nationally, regionally, and globally. In addition to the short courses and Masters programs in French-English and Clinical Psychology, the Faculty will provide soon the Postgraduate Diploma Program in Education (PGDE) with the following programs: Science Teaching; Language Teaching; Humanities Teaching; Business Studies Teaching; Technical and Vocational Education; School Leadership and Management.
