University of Kibungo (UNIK) Signs an MoU with iCPAR.
The University of Kibungo (UNIK) and iCPAR (Institute of Certified Public Accountants) sign an agreement to work together to train professionals in the field of Accountancy.
On the one hand, the agreement between the two parties will allow the University of Kibungo to offer quality University Accounting Programs and to provide learning materials relevant to the accountancy domain in order to maintain the accounting professional standards.
On the other hand, it will allow iCPAR to regulate the accounting profession and to produce competent and adequate Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Technicians who are highly qualified to serve in various accounting positions in Rwanda and outside Rwanda.
The MoU has been signed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kibungo, Prof. Karuranga Gahima Egide and the President of the Governing Council of iCPAR, Mr. Bosco Mkombozi Karake.
UNIK is encouraging all people interested in these professional accountancy programs to register. Day, evening and weekend programs are all available. UNIK guarantees an affordable cost and free accommodation for first 200 applicants specifically for day program.
The proposed starting time for this initiative is March 2018.
