On 1st April, 2017, University of Kibungo (UNIK) hosted Rwanda Psychological Association Seminar at Kibungo main campus. The seminar was about to prepare the 23rd commemoration of genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.

The Deputy Vice-Chairperson of Rwanda Psychological Association, Hon. Liberatha IRAMBONA, urged the clinical psychologists to contribute more to heal psychological harms of genocide survivors caused by the genocide against the Tutsi. She requested a common support especially during 100 days of the commemoration.

Mr. Jean Damascene NSHIMIYIMANA, PhD Candidate - Université Paris Vincennes Saint-Denis and lecturer at the University ofKibungo (UNIK) has provided a public lecture on “Role of psychologists in post-genocide Rwanda”. He stated that “
