AMINI NGABONZIZA Jean de Dieu lectures in the Faculty of Education at the University of Kibungo (UNIK), Ngoma District, Rwanda.

He holds a Masters of Arts (MA) in Applied Linguistics and Literacy education from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (South Africa). He is a current Director of UNIK language center and coordinates the Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda (ATER) chapter in Ngoma district. He is an active member of TESOL and in 2015 has been a recipient of Professional Development Travel Grant for Practicing ESL/EFL Teachers, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL international Association).

His teaching and research interests are English Education, language and identity, reconciliation pedagogy, multilingualism, sociolinguistics, critical literacy, discourse analysis, and language methodologies. His recent publications includes: “Space (re) design (im) possibilities: An analysis of a spatial literacy project-a critical literacy perspective (2015)” published in UNIK scientific journal under ISBN 978-2-9546182-0-3. In terms of research upgrading, he is doing PhD studies in Linguistics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.
