Projects worked on
Eugenie Mukankwiro is a faculty at the University of Kibungo (UNIK). She is an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Department of Arts and Humanities. She holds a MA degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which she got from Eastern Michigan University (USA) in 2012.</p>
<p>Eugenie joined UNIK in 2013 and since then, she got involved in delivering a number of courses: Basic Communication skills, Advanced Communication skills, Business Communication, English Language teaching methodology and Translation theories.</p>
<p>From 2013 to 2017, Eugenie headed an “Academic Quality” Unit at the University of Kibungo where her main tasks were to ensure that all taught programs are in accordance with the demands of National Council of Higher Education and other education standards in Rwanda, and advice the academic community on the requirements of and process for the program design and approval.</p>
<p>In 2018, together with teaching, Eugenie is heading a “Partnerships and Public Relations” Unit where her main task is to help the University of Kibungo liaise with the Community.</p>
<p>Before joining UNIK, Eugenie was a language Instructor at George Fox College (Kigali-Rwanda).</p>
<p>Eugenie's research interests include among others feedback to language learners and technology- led pedagogy.
