BARIFASHE Theodomir is a member of the teaching staff at the University of Kibungo (UNIK). He is an Assistant Lecturer and Academic Secretary in the Department of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Physical & Human Geography) from the National University of Rwanda (2006), and a Master’s degree in Geo-Information & Earth Observation from the University of Twente (The Netherlands, 2014), and a Postgraduate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Rwanda, College of Education (2015).
When he joined UNIK (former INATEK) in 2010, Theodomir has been given both teaching and administration duties. He is involved in teaching a number of modules both in the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Rural Development, namely Methods & Techniques in Spatial Analysis, GIS & Spatial Analyis, Mapping Techniques, Teaching Methods of Geography, Physical Geography, etc.
Theodomir is interested in research subjects aiming at detecting spatial patterns and those related to the spatial planning.
