Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi is a member of the teaching staff at the University of Kibungo (UNIK). He is an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Department of Economics and Management. He holds a Masters’ degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) which he got from Nkumba University_Entebbe (Uganda) in 2008.
Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi joined UNIK in 2011 and since then, he has been teaching a number of courses: Operations Research, Financial Analysis and Management, Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation, Economic Analyses, Research Project, and Accounting Information Systems.
From 2014 to 2017, Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi headed the Department of Economics and Management where the main tasks were the planning and managing teaching-learning activities carried out within the department.
Currently, Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi is carrying out a Research on “Empowerment, Employees’ competencies and working capital management to revise business organisations’ optimum performance in Rwanda” at Open University of Tanzania.
Before joining UNIK, Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi worked with MINEDUC (Bursar at TTC Kirambo, Burera district).
Jean Népomuscène Sebahinzi’s research interest is accounting and Finance and technology- imbedded pedagogy plus andragogy.
